Cities XL is an economic building game, in which players build their own megalopolis. Starting from scratch they have to build homes, workplaces, social buildings and so on. There are many different types of buildings from all over the world including architecture styles from America, Europe and Asia. The maps feature a variety of environments: mountains, hills, canyons, beaches and islands, all set in different climates from tropical to desert, Mediterranean to temperate. Cities XL also features great online features, where players can share their cities with other players on fictional planets, they can trade, team up and create massive metropolises.
